This campaign is truly one of the saddest but most rewarding to donate to.
A family of 5 needs a helping hand to keep their head above water. A man, who took on the responsibility to raise 3 children from a previous marriage (one with Autism) and with one child of his own, faced deportation on Dec 13, 2016, the mother now faces the challenge of supporting 4 kids on her own.
Richard O. is a very dedicated and loving father, who is well known within the Hispanic community in Calgary, AB. For his hard work ethic and strive to succeed in life, but unfortunately the immigration process was not very kind to his individual situation. Struggled to find odd jobs here and there to keep all the necessities for his family but always with a smile on his face, always thankful for the quality of life he was able to achieve while in the country.
We do not wish to include details on his immigration status as he is working very hard and doing everything possible to return to Canada to be with his family. However, it is heart breaking that a beautiful family has to be torn apart leaving children’s wellbeing in jeopardy.
We're hoping that this gofundme can help them be comfortable as all of the financial responsibilities still need to be taken care of and with Christmas just around the corner a little help will go a long way. A part of the money will also be used for immigration application fees and related expences.

Esta campaña es verdaderamente una de las más tristes pero más gratificante de donar.
Una familia de 5 necesita una mano amiga para mantener su cabeza por encima del agua. Un hombre, que asumió la responsabilidad de criar a 3 hijos de un matrimonio anterior (uno con autismo) y con un hijo propio, se enfrentó a la deportación el 13 de diciembre de 2016, la madre ahora se enfrenta al reto de apoyar a 4 niños por su cuenta .
Richard O. es un padre muy dedicado y cariñoso, que es bien conocido dentro de la comunidad hispana en Calgary, AB. Por su ética de trabajo duro y luchar por triunfar en la vida, pero lamentablemente el proceso de inmigración no fue muy amable con su situación individual. Luchó para encontrar trabajos extraños aquí y allá para mantener todas las necesidades de su familia, pero siempre con una sonrisa en su rostro, siempre agradecido por la calidad de vida que fue capaz de lograr mientras estaba en el país.
No deseamos incluir detalles sobre su estado de inmigración ya que está trabajando muy duro y haciendo todo lo posible para regresar a Canadá para estar con su familia. Sin embargo, rompe el corazón que una familia hermosa tiene que ser desgarrada dejando el bienestar de los niños en peligro.
Esperamos que este gofundme pueda ayudarles a estar cómodos ya que todas las responsabilidades financieras aún necesitan ser atendidas y con la Navidad a la vuelta de la esquina un poco de ayuda puede ir muy lejos. Una parte del dinero también se usará para las cuotas de solicitud de inmigración y gastos relacionados.
