Hello there my name is Joseph G Pavlizke Sr. , on May 10th 2019 at 8:30 my 06 Chrysler Pacifica caught fire due to a failure of the exhaust manifold / exhaust donut.... while traveling westbound I-696 I noticed smoke emitting from my dash vent, I immediately pulled my vehicle over to the shoulder and proceeded to pop the hood to see a 2-foot by 3-foot fire inside my engine compartment on the passenger dash of the vehicle..... I immediately sprung into action and ran to the rear driver door to remove my two-year-old son (Joseph M Pavlizke Jr.) from his car seat before it was consumed in the fire... once I had him and his diaper bag out of the vehicle I dialed 911 as I waited for the fire rescue of Southfield I had two off-duty fireman /Good Samaritans stop to make sure me and my son were okay....
Shortly after, the ambulance showed up to assess mine and my son's injuries... When the fire was put out by two fire trucks. (120 gallons of water and two tanks of flame retardant foam) It was recommended that we go to the hospital to be treated for burns to my left hand and to make sure my son didnt enhale the toxic smoke. We arrived at Beaumont at 9:45pm to be welcomed by an entire concerned medical staff, that did everything in their power to make sure me and my son were treated to the best of their abilities. When being treated at the hospital they took it upon themselves to locate and donate a new car seat so my son could go home safely.
Furthermore their patient representative went above and beyond when she ordered a Uber out of her own pocket to get transportation home, for my son and I.
In the fire we lost our three car seats for our 2 year old 1 year old and 3 month old on top of many other things... in addition to that being our only means of transportation and being told it was $270 to write off the vehicle in impound..

Any and all help is appreciative as I had just started my new job the week of this happening. AND being overwhelmed with bills and the fact of I took my handicap mother and father in a month ago and then this happened.....
