This beautiful family have just had their world tipped upside down just before Christmas due to a fire in their home.
In the early hours of the morning, mum Jo woke up, with all the family still sleeping. She smelt something strange so sent her husband to check it out.
A fire from a new washing machine (not in use) caused their home to be destroyed. They have both just worked so hard to have the home newly decorated and have just lost all of their hard work to the fire.
Luckily everyone in the house, including animals got out. The children, Jo and Dave, have got the clothes they ran out of the house in and some clothes that have been donated. They have lost everything else.
Everything downstairs has been ruined, and whilst everything upstairs hasn’t been burnt, it is all ruined by soot and smoke damage. Everything!
I am wanting to raise money for the family for a few reasons. Jo and her family have always raised money for a children’s charity the Evelina children’s fund and so I feel we need to give something back in their time of need. The other reason is, whilst in time insurance will assist them to rebuild their home, this is not instant and does not help them now when they need the basics to live, let alone give their family a Christmas they so deserve.
Please please dig deep and give as little or much as you can to help this family. They work incredibly hard and now need some help to get through the next few months.
