Help Me Get Through The Next Month
Donation protected
Hi, everyone who knows me calls me Mo. I am the person to go to when you need help, as I am always trying to go the extra mile in order to help someone out. I've never made a lot of money. I can't really work like regular people do because I have have Bipolar II Disorder, PTSD, and Panic Disorder. It effects my ability to concentrate, process instructions, and to complete tasks in a timely manner. I also have diabetes, non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), and other health issues such as frequent tachycardia that make it hard for me to do a lot of work without becoming fatiuged very easily.
I was on SSDI for about 13 months. During this time I found a manufacturing job that helped me be able to work full time. Unfortunately, I became sick, most likely an allergy to a fragrence componant used to make the product. I stubbornly tried to continue working and because of this, when it not longer became possible for me to work at this factory, I was considered to be "rehabilitated" and I lost my SSDI. This was back in June. I wasn't too concerned then since I still had some savings. Since then, I've only had ONE good paying short term project. And my savings have run out.
This past month, my roommates left. I do have someone that says they will move in, but they have yet to commit to a move in date. I am worried that after this month I will be homeless, especially if I have to cover my entire rent myself. I have started working as a Substitute Teacher in my local school district and it is bringing in some money but it won't be enough to cover all my expenses. I've also gone back to school.
I need to be able to go to the doctor's, but I don't have insurance so I pay for everything out of pocket. Sometimes the medications they want me to try can be expensive. I try to go to Wal-Mart but sometimes I don't have the energy and have to go to Walgreens, which ends up costing more.
The breakdown of my expenses are the following:
$1,090 - Rent
$80-100 - Power
$300 - Personal/Medical expenses (Medications)
The above does not include gas to get to work and my credit card debt. I also do not buy food unless I have extra money. I usually am able to go grocery shopping once a month, and I sometimes eat a single meal a day. I have a lot of food intolerences, and it seems to always be changing what my body will tolerate. So it's almost always a hit or miss when I shop if I can eat what I buy, and most times I just eat it anyway and deal with being sick.
All money donated will go ONLY to the above expenses. If there is any extra money, I would love to be able to go grocery shopping. I am trying really hard to find employment at a place that understands my health situation, my doctor thinks I should just go on welfare at this point. I am stubbornly refusing to do that at this point.
All amounts are significant, and if you can't donate, please share.
