Trying to help my sister

Donation protected
Thursday morning at 8am, while my sister was asleep and my brother in-law was taking the kids to school, someone broke into their home. According to the cops, they seemed like they were in a hurry. They stole the PS4 system and all the 15 games they had for it. But, more then that they stole the sense of security, the joy, and the little bit of normalcy the family has been able to cling too. Normally people would just replace the items and move on. But, those items had been a Christmas gift from myself and our mother. I know this is a long shot, but it can’t hurt to try. My nephews are really upset about the incident. I know, game systems should be easily replaceable, but the thing is my sister and her family live on a very fixed income. Her husband is an Air Force vet, and she has CRPS and in May was given heart wrenching news. She has stage five renial kidney failure. So, she is unable to work, and is still being denied SSI through the state. 2018 was a very upsetting, and life changing year for our entire family. Christmas was hard. With only 2 presents under the tree, the boys did their best not to show their disappointment, but I know it broke my sisters heart. She wanted so much more for them, and couldn’t do it. Between bills and medical it was impossible. All I want to be able to do is give my nephews back the smiles that some jerk stole from them. But, I can’t do it alone. So I thought just maybe I could reach out and get help from others. Thank you to everyone for even taking the time to read, share, or donate.
