David, one of our beloved baristas at Black Dog Cafe and an avid cyclist, was hit on his bike Wednesday night on North Monroe Street by a hit and run driver.  He is currently in critical condition at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital with numerous broken bones, cuts, and breathing on a ventilator.  Thoughts and prayers are much appreciated and we are all sending as many good thoughts as possible for his recovery.  In the meantime, the doctors say that he will be in the hospital for quite a while and as we all know, an extended hospital stay breaks the budget not only of David, but of his girlfriend and family who are caring for him.  We would like to provide a cushion to help this family and David through the next couple of months while he recovers.  Please give if you can.
