Helping the family of my Aunt Teree

Hi Friends and Family - I have started this gofundme account on behalf of my Aunt Teree and my cousins, Janelle, Sammy and Kenny. Last Saturday, my Aunt Teree was riding the bus in the Bay Area and suffered multiple aneurisms. She was rushed to the hospital and has been in the Neuroscience ICU at John Muir in Walnut Creek since Saturday evening. She has already undergone multiple brain surgeries and while her prognosis is uncertain, our family is preparing for the scenarios that could play out when someone you love suffers a tramatic brain injury.

I am starting this gofundme to help support my cousins. My Aunt Teree is the rock of her family and is immensely loved by her 3 kids, 8 grandkids, 2 sisters and 6 nieces and nephew. My aunt is the oldest of 3 daughters and my 7 cousins, my sister and I were all raised more like brothers and sisters than cousins. That is why the last 6 days have been amongst the most challenging days our family has faced. I am asking for donations to assist my cousins with the costs of food, lodging and transportation, and also for any unforseen medical costs.

At this time of year, most families are counting down the days until they can be with one another for the holidays. The holidays for my family may look a little different this year, but the one thing that will remain the same is that we will be together and we will fill whatever space we are in with the very special love we share.
