My dad's medical fund
Beschermde donatie
My dad, George Moore is terminally ill with pancreatic cancer. He requires a 24 hour home health care aide which in the terms of medical insurance is considered
" custodial care" and is not covered under his insurance. It is approximately $1400 a week which includes the aide's food. I've paid for the first week, but neither myself or my dad have the money to pay for this. I've exhaused all my financial options and I am unable to give my father the care he deserves in the remaining time he has.
My dad is a wonderful man and the best dad a daughter could ask for. I love him. He's a decorated U.S. Marine who represented his country in the Korean Ward. He played professional baseball for the NY Giants triple A team in the mid 1950's. He is a well respected man in the town of Hampton Bays, NY. He is a long time resident of Hampton Bays whose family was one of the original settlers of Hampton Bays in 1792.
Normally, I would not do something like this but I want my dad's last days, weeks.... to be as comfortable and painless for him as possible. I don't know how much time he has left so I'm asking for $5000. If I reach my goal and I don't use all the monies I raised, I promise you that the remaining amount of money would go toward his funeral expenses.
I appreciate anylthing you can offer Thank you in advance for your kindness. Cathy Ward
