A Father Taken From His Son

On September 22, 2020 Jamaal Commander was shot and killed in an apparent act of road rage, leaving behind his 2 month old son Amari and Amari’s mother, Kandice. Jamaal had just started to get his mobile car detailing business off the ground and was putting in the work to create a beautiful life for his son. At just 24 years old his life was cut short, leaving Amari without his  father. They say that it takes a village to raise a child, and as Amari's godfather and a part of his village, we are rallying around him to help provide what his father so fervently wanted to.

The money raised during this campaign will go to helping Amari and his mother Kandice with any bills they will incur in Jamaal's absence, as well as the continued support and future education of Amari. Nothing we do will bring back Amari's father, but we will do what we can to make sure that Amari is taken care of financially.
