This week the Jones' lives were turned upside down when they received the heartbreaking news that Zoe (19 years old) was diagnosed with Acute promyelocytic Leukemia (APL).
Anyone who knows Zoe, knows what a beautiful person she is inside and out. Zoe has an incredible sense of humor and creativity like none other. Her tender heart and love for others, especially children, shows in everything she does.
As family and friends are still processing this news, many are asking what they can do to help to this incredibly generous family who gives so of their time to church, school and community.
First of all...PRAY, PRAY, PRAY!!! Pray for strength for the Jones' family. Pray for the medical staff that will be developing a treatment plan. Pray for total and complete healing for sweet Zoe.
Next...we really have no idea what kind of financial implications the family will face, but as anyone who has dealt with insurance and medical care costs knows, it will be more than one family can bare. No matter how large or small, your individual gift can make a real impact and give them one less thing to worry about during this trying time. All money raised will go directly to Darren and Jill to help with Zoe's treatment plan and medical bills in addition to their normal expenses.
Please understand that this initial goal will likely be updated as we understand future needs of the family.
