Peter's Cancer Fund

Peter was diagnosed with esophageal cancer in February 2015. He is the husband of Lianne and the father of 2 children. He has undergone all the chemotherapy and radiation treatments and his tumor responded. However, due to the aggressiveness of the cancer, his doctors recommended surgery to remove part of his esophagus and stomach. Peter will not be able to work for some time while he recovers and there are some unforseen medical needs. His doctors have said that following these types of surgeries the patient can never lie flat again to sleep because the esophageal sphincter is removed during surgery and stomach acids would reflux into his lungs. Therefore , Peter requires an adjustable bed. However, these are extremely expensive. His family would appreciate any donation to help alleviate the financial impact of such a large purchase.
