Zafi's surgery

It's been an emotional day over here. Zafi, our loving, amazing cat needs our help quite urgently.
 
Those who know Zafiro know that he is something special.  He's so smart, obedient, and loving. The way he greets us at the door when we come home, the way he never misses an opportunity to sit on a lap - Zafi just loves people.  And now he needs us to return the favor. 

Recently, Zafi's health took a turn for the worse. He began vomiting frequently, stopped eating, and started losing weight rapidly.  A trip to the hospital revealed a tumor in his intestine that was blocking his food from passing through.  The surgery to remove it is not cheap, but it's his only hope for survival at this point and there is no way we can say goodbye to such an amazing cat when it's possible to save him. 

We need to get together $5000 and have the surgery done immediately -he can't wait. If you have had the pleasure of meeting Zafi, have gotten a laugh out of one of his silly Facebook pictures, or just love cats, please help us save him. Tiffany and I would really appreciate it. It's difficult to imagine not having him on the couch next to us. He is a member of the family and he means so much to us.  :'(
