Hello everyone my name is Michelle and I am the manager of seaham chippy. I started a free meal scheme not so long ago in the hopes that people who were struggling would contact myself for a free meal and to see if I could offer more help or support. The free meal scheme quickly took off but I soon found that as expected alot of people in our community needed alot more than just a free meal. So I then started offering fresh food parcels along with the meals so that people had the means to make fresh healthy meals for themselves and there family. I have since joined up with our local food banks and also receive help from our local morrisons who also support the heling hand scheme.
Our food parcels consist of a mixture of fresh and dried tinned foods so that a number of meals can be made.
I am starting this go fund me so that I can continue to provide the food parcels to our community for as long as possible as without the help of our generous community none of this would be possible. Thankyou for taking time to read this.
