We are determined to give our people in community the BIGGEST DEADLIEST MOB CHRISTMAS FEED!
This year we have we have Minjerribah, Meanjin & Remote Nth QLD on board and depending on what we can raise in the next 6-7 weeks we hope to help others in need as we have previously over the last 2 years!
Q) How will it work?
A) In Minjerribah we have Kaiyu resident and Blak business owner of Red, Black and Yellow shop handing them out to community, in Meanjin we have Luana Coolwell (who handed vouchers out last year and Dreamtime Aroha (us) and in far Nth QLD we have Ash who again handed out vouchers and food packages to elders and the local kindy we sponsor on board!
Q) How can I get one?
A) We will be as always accepting messages and emails from community, outside of QLD but our priority will be the local organisation referrals and Mob with elders and kids.
Q) Accountability?
A) As always we will be posting photos, receipts and any other information around where the vouchers have gone. Please keep in mind that we will be handing these out at our own discretion and at the discretion of the people volunteering on the ground - we will be prioritising Aboriginal elders, families and non government Aboriginal agencies.
