Help for Oma
Donation protected
On Monday, October 9th Stephanie's grandmother, Marianne (Oma), lost her home in the fires in Santa Rosa. She was carried out of her home by a brave first responder as the fire reached her backyard around 3:45 am. Her neighborhood had already been evacuated and they didn't expect to find anyone alive when he went to Oma's address.
Other than her pajamas, slippers, purse and walker, Oma lost everything. She will live with Steph's parents as of now, but it will take years to even begin to rebuild.
Oma is 86 and unsurprisingly doesn't have a huge social media presence. Steph and I wanted to reach out to our communities to try and get her some help and provide her what peace of mind we can during this devastating time.
I know so many people are donating and volunteering in anyway that they can. Any and all contributions are appreciated as we help Oma start over and recover from this loss.
