Hey everyone,
My name is Amy Mikhailitchenko and I recently completed my Discipleship Training School (DTS) with Youth With A Mission (YWAM). God is doing amazing things all over the world and completing my DTS showed me just a small part of what He is doing globally.
After completing my DTS, I felt God calling me to do the School Of Missions and Evangelism (SOME) at YWAM Honolulu. After the three month lecture phase, my team and I will be going again to Southeast Asia for outreach.
This school is mainly focused on training us in evangelism and preparing us for future ministries, whether as missionaries in another country or running ministries in our home country.
Doing this school has given me the chance to give God control in my life and rely on Him. I am choosing to trust and rely on Him during this season. This is truly the best way any of us can and should live our lives: denying ourselves, picking up our cross, and following Him (Matthew 16:24).
