For the last two days since the unfortunate news about Grandma, we (myself, Julian, Matt and Jenny) have been working to figure out everything that needs to be done to properly honor her. As I am sure you all know planning a funeral service is not an easy task that needs to be taken care of quickly. According to her Power of Attorney and looking through all of the paperwork, we have figured out that there is nothing remaining in her finances to take care of any of the costs associated with a funeral service (other than the burial plot being paid for).
This is the time we need everyone in the family to do their part. There is no reason that any one person should have to take sole responsibility for this. We need to come together and figure out how to financially take care of this so we can properly celebrate her life. Please let us know what you can contribute.
We are working off a date of Wednesday, August 17th at 11:00am (starting at St. Cecilia’s). Given this date, we will need to have all the payments taken care of by Monday.
I hope that we can all come together to help each other and not put the financial burden of this on any one person.
