Yvette Drolette Medical Bills

On Tuesday, November 29th, my mom was in a terrible head-on collision on her way home from work. The other driver was driving the wrong way on the highway and was pronounced dead on the scene. My mom had to be cut out of the car and life-flighted to the hospital.

She has a broken neck, back, arm, leg, pelvis, five broken ribs, and lots of bruises and some cuts from the glass. Thankfully an off-duty police officer was in a car nearby and held her neck while they waited for the helicopter to arrive.

After multiple surgeries and two weeks in the hospital, she is back at home with her dog, Maya (who is very happy to see her but bummed she can't play), and her husband, Grant. They'll both be off work for a while until she can walk again.

Unfortunately, the other driver only had minimum liability insurance and will only cover a very small fraction of the total costs. The cost of medical bills, equipment bills, vehicle replacement, and lost wages are going to be significant.

We're asking for donations to help cover the cost of medical bills and the cost of being out of work for an extended period. We appreciate all the support and prayers from friends and family and will continue praying for her over the coming months. The road to recovery is long, but we are so thankful that she's alive and grateful for all the support.
