Hi, Phoebe here! Some of you may be aware that my mum has been fighting a cancer named multiple myeloma for around 7 years now. She has been incredible in keeping on top of it and has enjoyed her quality of life, but her journey has taken a turn over the last few months. Her recent treatment options haven’t worked as expected BUT we do have another shot (fingers crossed). She has been given the green light to go ahead with a newer treatment, although it is extremely costly! There’s not a cent we wouldn’t spare to help but it will put an extraordinary financial burden on my family, coming in at $28,000 for 2 months of treatment ($168,000 a year). There have been some miracle stories from this treatment and I’m very busy praying my mum is one of them!!
