My name is Venetia Paquette and I am Katharine's niece. I am raising funds to help my aunt and her two daughters, Kayla and Kristyn.
They we're victims of the recent flood in Williamsford, ON. that left them, and many others homeless. They remain to date, unable to move back into their home until repairs can be made and services can be restored to the house ( hydro, water, heat, sewage, etc. ). They lost all personal belongings on the main floor due to water damage and contamination from chemicals and sewage in the flood waters. This, in addition to the damage to the house itself...
The main floor has been gutted and is starting to dry out. Funds will be used to help rebuild their home and replace some of what they have lost. Their home needs a lot of carpentry work, needs to be rewired, and all appliances need replaced...
Anyone that knows my aunt, knows that she has been a single mother for many years, is very giving, caring, and very hard working. Asking for help is something my aunt rarely does, she's uaually the one helping others.
At this time, Katharine and her daughter's are extremely overwhelmed. That's why I am reaching out to others for help, in their time of need.
I would be very grateful for any help we can give my auntie. She has done so much for me in my own life. For me to help them to be able to get moved back into their home would be my way of giving back what she has always, freely, given me, as well as many other's...
