Home Sweet Home – Aiutami a portare questo spettacolo al Fringe Festival di Edimburgo!

Ciao! Sono Miriam Cappa, attrice e autrice.

Ho scritto uno spettacolo che mi sta particolarmente a cuore. Si chiama Home Sweet Home ed è una tragicommedia che parla della crisi abitativa.

Di cosa parla Home Sweet Home?

È una storia ironica e amara, che racconta cosa significa cercare di diventare adulti in un mondo in cui gli affitti sono alle stelle e il lavoro sempre più precario. È una lotta quotidiana per mantenere la dignità, l’autonomia ma soprattutto la salute mentale.

È un racconto collettivo, che parla di me, ma forse anche di te.

Una notizia bellissima…

Il Fringe Festival di Edimburgo – il più importante festival teatrale al mondo – ha selezionato il mio spettacolo per l’edizione 2025!

Un sogno, un’occasione enorme per far sentire la mia voce e portare questa storia davanti a un pubblico internazionale.

Ma ho bisogno del vostro aiuto.

Per partecipare, la produzione del festival richiede il 40% del guadagno previsto in anticipo, suddiviso in queste scadenze:

£625 entro il 14 aprile

£800 il 1° maggio

£800 il 1° giugno

£800 il 1° luglio

Tutti i fondi raccolti andranno a coprire i costi di iscrizione, produzione e logistica per portare Home Sweet Home sul palco del Fringe e anche l'affitto per stare un mese lì.

Ogni piccolo contributo fa davvero la differenza: che siano 5€, 20€, 50€ o una condivisione, tutto è prezioso.

Home Sweet Home – Help me bring this show to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival!

Hi! I’m Miriam Cappa, actress and writer.

I’ve written a show that’s very close to my heart. It’s called Home Sweet Home, and it’s a tragicomedy about the housing crisis.

What is Home Sweet Home about?

It’s an ironic and bittersweet story about what it means to try to become an adult in a world where rents are sky-high and work is increasingly precarious. It’s a daily struggle to maintain dignity, independence, and most importantly, mental health.

It’s a collective story, one that’s about me, but maybe also about you.

A wonderful piece of news…

The Edinburgh Fringe Festival — the biggest theatre festival in the world — has selected my show for the 2025 edition!

It’s a dream, an amazing opportunity to make my voice heard and bring this story to an international audience.

But I need your help.

To participate, the festival’s production requires 40% of the expected earnings upfront, broken down into the following deadlines:

£625 by April 14th

£800 on May 1st

£800 on June 1st

£800 on July 1st

All funds raised will go towards covering the registration, production, and logistics costs to bring Home Sweet Home to the Fringe stage, as well as the rent for staying there for a month.

Every little contribution truly makes a difference: whether it’s €5, €20, €50, or a share, everything is valuable.
