Young Moorebank family of 7 need our help!

On the fourth of September 2021 this beautiful, adoring family was faced with an unexpected tragedy.

42yr old Moorebank Mother of 2 & step-mother of 2, Maria Gourlas, in her 34th week of pregnancy, suffered a stroke at home. She was rushed to Liverpool hospital for an emergency C-Section to deliver their 5th child & for further medical attention with loving Partner Brian by her side.

Their desperately wanted child~ Baby James was born, surviving only a few short hours, suffering from heart difficulties.

Maria has regrettably suffered another 2 strokes since & is fighting for her life.

Still on life support, with an uncertain fate, our aim is to raise enough money to bury their beloved son, help towards ongoing medical expenses for Maria and to take care of their 4 other children during this unfathomable grief.

We also ask for your prayers for Maria & the family during this time. If and when she wakes up from this 3rd stroke, the doctors have advised that the journey to rehabilitation will be arduous & life may not ever return to normal.
