Leeds RAG Fashion Show 2023

We are the Leeds RAG Fashion Show, a part of the official fundraising society of Leeds University Union, the Leeds Raise and Give Society. Every year we donate our event proceeds to charities striving to make big impacts with your generous support and donations. Since 2012 the RAG society has raised over £1,000,000 for a vast range of local, national and international charities. The iconic Leeds Rag Fashion show is returning for another year. For the 15th annual show, the chosen theme is mental health, with the show titled Eudaimonia, which is loosely translated from Greek, meaning happiness, well-being and success. We are striving to encourage our generation to speak up about their mental health and combat the stigma often associated with doing so.

This year LRFS2023 has chosen to support two inspiring mental health charities, Leeds Survivor Led Crisis Services and YoungMinds.

Leeds Survivor Led Crisis Service was first founded in 1999 in Leeds by a group of campaigning mental health users, the charity focuses on a non-medical and non-diagnostic approach to treatment. The compassionate, person-centred support is provided by volunteers who have had their own struggles with mental health. YoungMinds is the UK's leading charity in combatting young people's mental health, through using their 3-year strategy "You Matter", their aim is to encourage a national-led movement to speak up and fight the vicious mental health cycle amongst our youth. They believe no one should go without support and express a focus on providing this in order to prevent young people from reaching crisis points.

The amazing work both these charities do is made possible by both incredible volunteers and fundraising, so please give all you can!
