The Arizona State University Young Democrats are proud to be launching a grassroots campaign to send six of our most promising members to a once in a lifetime training opportunity put on by Wellstone Action this September in Missouri.
Every day, conservative and dark money groups invest six dollars in youth leadership development for every dollar that progressive groups spend. The dearth of investment in young, progressive and diverse leadership is handicapping our ability to win critical fights all over the country, especially here in Arizona.
The cutting edge skills and knowledge our members will receive at this training and bring back to our communities will translate into actual victory, not "moral victory," for our most vulnerable communities. The cost of this opportunity is not cheap, but the return on investment will last forever.
