Recently I faced a mental health crisis. It’s something I didn't see coming — something that slowly built over time, but left a lasting impact. Hiking is one of the few things that has significantly helped my own mental health, which is why the Yorkshire 3 peaks felt a suitable challenge to raise money for this charity. I'll be taking on this 24 mile long challenge on Saturday the 24th May.
Mental health doesn’t discriminate. It can affect anyone, at any time, and so often it goes unseen and unheard. It is always okay to ask for help and support.
I’m doing this to raise awareness, to show support, and to give back to a charity that helps countless people find hope when they need it most. We all will have friends and family that are affected by mental health issues and Mind has been a lifeline for so many — offering support, understanding, and a place to turn when everything feels overwhelming.
If you’re able to donate, no matter how small, it truly means the world. You’re not just supporting me — you’re standing with everyone fighting a silent battle.
Thankyou
Jake
