Build a Wheelchair Ramp

Hey everyone! My name is Whitney Ervin, I am starting this fundraiser to help a very dear friend of mine who recently lost one of her legs due to a medical amputation. We both reside in Foley, Alabama. Her name is Betty "Annette" Holmes. She is 57 years old, and one of the strongest, most resilient people I've ever met. Now that she is home, well, and recovering from the surgery, she's having trouble with entering and exiting her home. Annette has stairs that are about 3ft high that you have to climb to enter her home. Unfortunately her mobility has now been restricted to a wheelchair. This is where I come in. I am trying to get people from our community to come together to help build a Wheelchair Ramp for Annette so that she can enter and exit her home without any issues. We are trying to raise as much money as we can so that we can do some other minor repairs on the house as well. She needs a barn door put in on her bedroom so she can roll in about with ease, as well a some flooring that needs to be replaced. We're trying to make her home Wheelchair accessible, as much as we can and to the best of our ability. Any and all donations, materials, and volunteering are greatly appreciated and valued.
