Andrea Macikova Fire Relief: Everything Lost

Hi family and friends,
I have started this GoFundMe page for my boyfriend’s mom Andrea and her daughter Ema. This Easter weekend on April 3rd at around 3am Andrea survived a devastating fire in her apartment, which she managed to escape from barefoot, and in her pajamas. Luckily Ema was at her dad’s house that night and did not witness this atrocity. Unfortunately, as a result of the fire Andrea and Ema lost everything they held dear as well as Andrea’s necessities’ such as her ID’s, car keys, bank cards, and electronics that would allow her to regain stability faster. Andrea is still in a great deal of shock and trying to process what has happened.
Andrea and her family are forever thankful for the fire department and all other emergency responders who arrived on the scene very quickly and saved her as she was trapped on a neighbor’s balcony watching the flames burst out of her home.
While we can’t bring back items of sentimental value we hope this GoFundMe page will help her get back on her feet and find a sense of normalcy, safety, and stability to help with the financial burden this fire has caused.
The irreparable damage of a fire in your home is something nobody can truly ever be prepared for.
