Remembering Scott

Help Scott beat CancerHi, my name is Jade and I am fundraising for my brother-in-law Scott. Just over a month ago he went to the ER due to severe abdominal pain and vomiting. He was treated and released for diverticulitis. A couple days later he ended up back in the ER for the same symptoms but this time he was admitted to the hospital. While spending 2 weeks in the hospital and after many tests ran. They found a huge mass on his esophagus which came back malignant. So, you can imagine the medical expenses are beginning to pile up because of the outrageous deductibles and out of pocket expenses that need to be met before anything can be covered at 100%.He is now medically unfit to work, and he hasn’t been able to start his radiation and chemotherapy yet because he has been in and of the Hospital with him being in a lot of pain and now needs to use a feeding tube. With him being unable to work not only are his medical bills growing so are his bills at home. His beautiful wife is the only means of income right now trying to financially support bills from home, hospital, doctor, and any other medical treatment being done for Scott. On top of taking care of their two handsome little boys (5 and 7). She is doing her best to remain emotionally strong for her little family. I’d also like to add his wife Susan is an immigrant from the Philippines and part of the agreement for her coming to the United States is that she can’t seek assistance from the government until she becomes a citizen. They are members of the Pasedena Community Church here in Saint Petersburg.I am doing this for Scott and his family because they are a part of my 'Ohana. 'Ohana means family, and nobody gets left behind. All funds are going to his wife to help with Scott's medical bills and bills for his home including rent, electric, phone, etc. Let's please help Scott get all the treatment he needs so he can give him the strength to go home to his two little boys. The boys said they want their daddy back to play superheroes again.Let’s please help Scott get treatment so he can spend as much time as he can with his boys for as long as he can.
