MoMo education

Hello everyone!

We are 4 enthusiastic first-year students of commercial economics at the university of applied Sciences Leiden. We are committed to making education more accessible to children in Kenya and Bangladesh. Together with the organization MoMo education, we want to contribute to improving the education and future prospects of children in the remote communities of Kenya.

MoMo mission:

Our mission is to create a globally connected learning and communication platform by supporting schools in developing countries with digital education and connecting them to schools around the world. We do this by providing wi-fi and computers in schools in Kenya and Bangladesh. Here they learn the ‘basics’ such as creating an email. They communicate with other countries through our international citizenship program. For example, they regularly facetime with a class in the Netherlands. In this way, you get to know other cultures, norms and values. MoMo is focused on promoting equal opportunities, protecting children's rights, and strengthening media and digital literacy among children worldwide.

How can you help?

Donate: with €100 euros we can provide Wi-Fi in a classroom for 4 months. With €500 euros we can finance and train the teacher for a whole year. With €1500 euros we can build a fully equipped classroom with computers, a projector, a sound system and camaras for 30 students and 2 teachers (1 computer per 5 students).

Every euro brings us closer to our goal of providing children in Kenya with a better future.
