Support for the Taylor Family

On Sunday July 11th, Justin suffered an accident causing an acute spinal cord injury at his C5 vertebra. Thanks to the efforts of his neighbors and the excellent and timely care received at South Shore Hospital and Brigham & Women’s Hospital, he was able to get the necessary surgery with a highly experienced team at the Brigham within 24 hours to stabilize his spinal cord. He has spent the past 12 days in the ICU and will soon be transferred to Spaulding Rehabilitation to begin physical therapy.

There are a lot of unknowns at this time, but what we do know is that a large community of family and friends have asked for ways to support Justin, Sarah, and the boys. After discussing with Sarah and Justin, we have organized this campaign as the most effective way to do so. There will be substantial uncovered expenses incurred as part of Justin’s ongoing care and rehabilitation, funds needed for home modifications, as well as loss of income. Any amount would be greatly appreciated to help support their journey.
