We are adopting!!!!! Chris and I have decided to adopt an infant domestically. We have completed our home study and are officially a 'waiting family'.
The total cost of an infant adoption is $35,000-$50,000. It is likely that we will be adopting from out of state, so we will also have travel/living expenses while working through the legal process in the state the baby is born.
We are grateful for any support to offset the cost. This is an overwhelming amount of money for us to save on our own, though we are trying as well as applying for a few grants.
