Nicole's Matching Scholarship

Donation protected
Hi there! I am Nicole. I am a small-town Iowa girl living in big-city Colorado. I am a graduate of Brigham Young University with a degree in Home and Family Living. I am currently working on a Masters of Divinity at Iliff School of Theology. My mission is to become a board-certified chaplain and work with veterans in a wilderness survival setting.

A masters degree is required for me to become board-certified. And a Masters of Divinity will help me be prepared and qualified to work with those of all faiths. I also will be will be attending the Outward Bound Instructor program to develop the skills to lead groups of people on outdoor adventures.

The Iliff School of Theology has generously offered me a Matching Scholarship, meaning, the money donated from individuals through this site to help me finance my education will be matched by the school. Donations may NOT be anonymous for this scholarship opportunity.

I hope to raise $5000 to finance my degree so that I can serve and better advocate for our service men and women and I am asking for your support. Your tax-deductible contribution will be matched by the Iliff School of Theology and will help me earn the degree necessary to become the board-certified chaplain our community needs.

I created a video introducing myself and sharing my story of being called to the work of a chaplain.
