YWAM Yosemite!

Hello friends and family! As I was trying to decide what I wanted to do after high school, I began to hear more and more about a program called YWAM (Youth with A Mission). The Lord has been putting travel and mission work on my heart, and I am so grateful that He has blessed me with the opportunity to do both of those things this year with YWAM Yosemite!
YWAM is a christian mission organization that focuses on training youth on how to know God better and make him known. I will be attending a DTS (discipleship training school) in Yosemite California for about 3 months of the lecture phase where I will be learning in a classroom environment. Lecture phase is followed by the outreach phase where I will be applying everything I've learned on a cross-cultural outreach. My classes in Yosemite begin on September 12th and I will leave for outreach sometime in December. I don't know exactly where my outreach will be located yet, but I will be sure to update when I find out! I am so excited for this amazing opportunity to learn more about God's love for the world and have new experiences.
As I prepare to leave for YWAM, I would like to ask for your support! If you could be praying for myself and my team during our lecture phase, that the Lord would be working in our hearts, breaking down walls, and that we would respond by trusting him. If you would also like to pray for safe travels as my team and I travel to another country to serve and love on others, I would greatly appreciate it! Along with prayer, my trip requires financial support. The lecture phase costs $3000 which I will need to pay before leaving for outreach, and the outreach phase will cost about $3700 depending on which country I am sent to.
