On September 8, my oldest sister passed away. She leaves behind her 14-year-old daughter.

What we are asking is that the community help us with burial arrangements for Nikkie. She was a beloved daughter, a sister, and a mother. We all know that death is untimely, and no one is ever prepared for this.

With our hearts weighing very heavy right now, our family is in need of help and whatever you can give would greatly be appreciated. Our family thanks you, and we send our love and prayers to those who have had Nikkie touch their lives. She was a good kid and an amazing person.

She would give the shirt off her back to a friend in need, always helping stray animals and the less fortunate.
