Nanu Ugwu, Our fellow LJC Lion has suffered a life threatening car accident on January 5th 2018.

He suffered some internal bleeding in his brain, a laseration on his right eye and has lost his right eye and is suspected to have a fracture in his C2 vertebrae which is behind his neck. He also has difficulty breathing and is currently using a ventilator to aid his breathing. He has now been unconscious for 15 days.

However, the good news is that he has been making steady improvements daily. He has been able to move his hands and legs and he occasionally blinks his left eye. We remain confident that by God's grace, he will make a tremendous recovery.

We have been overwhelmed with the support of our alumni community and have made this page for anyone who would like to donate to help cover Nanu's medical expenses.
