Dear Technology Colleagues,
Many of you may know Amaury Marchal who is based in Brussels and has been a crucial part of the Architecture team for the past 7 years. He’s a dedicated and passionate coworker and most of all is a loving partner and father to two children.
Tragically, Amaury was in a motorcycle accident in June where he sustained multiple injuries and a damaged spinal cord and doctors fear that he probably won’t walk again on his own. Thankfully, he has woken up from being in a coma and is responding well. As soon as he has recovered, Amaury will spend the coming months to get the help and therapy he will need to transition into a new way of life.
We have decided to set up a “Gofundme” campaign to raise money to help with his extensive medical bills, physical therapy and equipment to help him and his family in this difficult time.
If you would like to make a personal donation then this will be much appreciated however we would also encourage any team (wherever they are in the globe) to get involved by running, walking, cycling or any activity of your choice, where you could be sponsored by others, as a way of giving back to one of our team, in their moment of greatest need.
We have an opportunity to show Amaury but also each other, what being part of Ingenico is like and how generous we can be with our time, our efforts and our hearts.
