Volunteer in Fiji

In June 2022, I will be travelling to Fiji to live and volunteer in a rural Fijian village for 1 month.
As a volunteer for Think Pacific I will be helping children gain a better education through teaching English and extra curricular activities such as dance, drama, art, music, etc. I will be staying in the heart of the Fijian village and living in a home with a Fijian family. I will be given the opportunity to learn about their culture and ways of living.
Think Pacific is an organisation which makes a massive impact on the lives of Fijian families and children. 20,000 children are supported each year by Think Pacific volunteers and I feel honoured that next year I will be able to play my part in helping make a difference.
I am currently in University studying Primary Education so not only is this a life changing opportunity for me it also links closely to my passions and goals in life. I have always wanted to travel and I cant think of anything more rewarding than volunteering at the same time!
This trip will be both challenging and rewarding for me. I am stepping out of my comfort zone and doing something that I have never done before. I am so grateful to be given an opportunity like this to make a difference in other peoples life.
With your help, the donations I receive will enable me to undergo this fantastic experience. Not only that, your donations will help support and provide the Fijian communities with sports equipment, educational resources, teacher training, and aid relief.
