Brooke's Wellness Campaign!

Brooke is 33 years old. She married her husband, Charles, on 12/13/14.

On 12/18/15, Brooke was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer that has spread to her lymph nodes. People sometimes say that someone is as beautiful inside as out and Brooke exemplifies this. She is a lovely woman, mother, and valued employee of Mannington Mills for the last 10 years. She has worked at Mannington Mills full time with a small child and got her business degree from Salem Community College.

She will bravely continue to work as she focuses on her own healing. She is receiving chemotherapy and although she is employed, her deductibles are high because she is rarely sick. She has had to pay 2015's deductible as well as the 2016 deductible right behind it. Her genetic marker testing for the breast cancer gene was an out of pocket expense and that information is indispensible to the men and women in her family. Here is Brooke's struggle, in her own words:

Brooke has 5 months of chemo, surgery, and radiation ahead of her. She had her second round of chemo on 1/21/16.

She has many things going for her, a strong family presence, an incredible will, and a grandmother that survived breast cancer not once, but TWICE.
Brooke does not use Facebook, so her family has created this Go Fund Me Account for her to try and help relieve some of the burden and worry over her medical bills.
Any amount of donation will be appreciated. If you don't have any to spare, we understand! There is still something you can do! We ask that you keep Brooke in your thoughts but we are very specific about how we ask you to do this. Take a few moments to visualize her in perfect health and exuberance. The best gift you can give someone is seeing them in their best form! Thank you so much for taking the time to read this today and be a part of Brooke's journey!
*NOTE* Because of your generous contributions, we have upped our goal! We started at a modest $5,000. Brooke's medical bills will far exceed this so we have arrived at the new goal of $10,000! Thank you for your continued support!
