Costa Rica Service Trip

Hi my name is Zaraha Jones. I am a 7th grader at Summit middle school. I am raising money to go on a trip to Costa Rica on June 2018. I get the privilege of going to Costa Rica because I am apart of an organization called the Young Dreamers Network (YDN).


The YDN is a group of students that travel to different countries to help out the community and connect with other students from that country who share the same interest in helping out their community. When I get to Costa Rica I will be helping out by planting trees, picking up litter, and helping the local schools by tutoring younger kids. I will also get to go sightseeing, hang gliding, hiking and many more fun activities.


I want to go on this trip because it feels good to help out others. When I go on this trip I want to do my best to get as much work done as possible while still having fun. I have never been out of the country before so this will be a great learning experience for me a those around me. All the funds will go to buying my plane ticket and passport.
