Rich Maxwell Family Funds

On Monday, March 28, 2016, Rich went into surgery to clear a significant amount of plaque from his carotid artery. He was then moved to the ICU for observation. While in ICU, he had a pretty substantial stroke, which caused only further complications. He was rushed into surgery, where they found a .5 cm piece of plaque located just above the previousy cleaned artery. There was lack of back flow of blood during the course of this. After what was considered a successful surgery of removing the large piece of plaque, Rich was thought to be beginning his road to recovery. However, yesterday, his wife, Kerri, and father, Richard, had to make the decision to have Rich rushed back into surgery again to have a craniotomy to remove a piece of his skull due to swelling of the brain. Rich is currently battling the loss of functionality of speech and mobility in the right side of his body. As one could imagine, his family is suffering a great deal while doing their best to remain optimistic for a full recovery. Rich and Kerri have a long road ahead of them and many expenses have already began to incur and many many more will in the future. We are asking if you can help, even the smallest amount, please do so. Rich has been a strong presence in his community and has used many of his talents and resources to help a multitude of people.
