The Rider Family Fire

It is with a heavy heart that I write this request to help the Rider family. The Thursday before Thanksgiving their residence was destroyed by fire. Fortunately, no was hurt - however they did loose the family pet Lulu, (cat) in the incident. The Rider's lost everything -furniture, clothing, kitchenware, electronics, bedding, towels, toys, much of John's equipment freezers, refrigerators were stored in the basement and were also destroyed unfortunately, they were not carrying renters insurance at the time. 

The Riders were displaced for over a month and thankfully were able to stay with very good friends.They recently rented a home and are in the process of rebuilding their lives. It is a very expensive ordeal.  They have exhausted what little savings they had.

People have asked how they can help and quite honestly it is with money. While people donated clothes and household items to get resettled, there are things that quite frankly involve strictly money. John and Ronnie are very proud people, but John lost a lot of days working and lost a lot of his equipment that were vital to his business. John and Ronnie are the first people to ask how they can help someone in need and  now it is our turn as their friends to help them.

Ronnie and John live together with their daughter Kristin and two grandson's Jack and Bobby and are the primary financial caregivers to the children. This Christmas was a not what the boy's were expecting. They are both thankful for their new home but it was still a very meager Christmas under their tree.

The Rider's are resilient and will overcome this ordeal and will grow stronger in the process.
