Jamie Ranicar’s infectious smile and generosity of spirit touched all who knew him. He gave without hesitation and expected nothing in return. He and his wife, Deb, have donated countless hours to Granby organizations, including the Granby Rovers, Boy Scouts, the PTO, the Booster Club, the Granby Education Foundation, the Granby Land Trust, and so many more. If you’re lucky enough to know them, you know how much they give. Today, we’d like to give something back.
Jamie was suddenly and tragically struck down by a massive heart attack on June 22. He had spent the day playing soccer with the Rovers and attending a memorial service for a close family friend. He was just 51 years old. He leaves Deb and their three sons, ages 22, 18, and 13.
Our goal is to ease the stresses of daily life for them by covering the costs of chores like lawn maintenance and driveway clearing; and more importantly to help underwrite the boys’ college educations.
