Morlis Sor's Funeral & Final Expenses
Donation protected
My name is Suzy Nguyen and I’m a friend of Julie Sor and Alicia Sok. I would like to share their mom’s story and ask for your support. Morlis Sor is someone that I truly and whole heartily admire for her strength, resilience, and courage.
Morlis was first diagnosed in 2009 at the age of 56 with metastatic ovarian cancer. She endured 3 years of treatment, undergone surgery, and remained in complete remission for 2 years.
Sadly, her cancer returned in late 2014. Morlis continued with aggressive chemotherapy and remained in partial remission. In 2017, her cancer advanced and spread to her pancreas. Thenceforth, she developed additional health complications and began having fluid build up in her lungs and making it extremely hard to breathe.
It has taken a great toll on her with the treatments, frequent need to drain the fluids, and oxygen tank confinement. Morlis has been fighting for nearly 10 years and doctors recently informed the family that she has less than 2 weeks.
The expenses will be substantial for Julie, Alicia, and their family as Morlis did not have life insurance or retirement savings. We appreciate any amount that you are able to contribute to help with their anticipated expenses. Please help Morlis as she nears the end of her battle with cancer to find her peace.
Thank you kindly.
