Living and Moving Expenses

Hi everyone. My name is Rita Alegria and I am starting this fundraiser for my daughter, Shauna, and son-in-law, Andy, to help with living and moving expenses.

Andy has worked in the soccer world, professionally and non-professionally, all his life. At the beginning of December, Andy's position as Technical Director, for a soccer club in Arizona, was dissolved and the club was unable to pay his salary, so they decided to let him go as men's head coach as well. His position was a contract position which meant he was ineligible for unemployment. About 1 week later, Shauna was also let go from her position. Luckily, they have a great landlord who allowed them to stay in their home through January, in the hopes that Andy would be able to find employment. There is an opportunity for him to coach and scout in another state cross country. Nothing is definitive at the moment. However, they need to be out of their home in Arizona by February 1st.

Moving is stressful as it is, but being cash-strapped right now, has added extra stress. Whether they move across the country or back home to Salt Lake, they will still need to pay for moving and living expenses, for at least a couple of months.

Please give what you can. No amount is too small. They are amazing people and amazing things can happen when people help each other.
