Global Brigades Trip

Hi, my name is Jalexis Evans. I am a junior at Tulane University studying Chemistry on the pre-medicine track with minors in mathematics and studio art. I've been selected through my school to travel to the country of Panama, in Central America,  as a Global Brigader. While on this trip, I will be assisting in setting up and running a  clinic for residents of this area who do not normally have access to healthcare.  

Going on this trip would grant me the opportunity to assist in the making of healthier lifestyles in communities with poor health outcomes, shadow clinical professionals, and appreciate the healthcare I have here in this country.  As someone who wants to go into medicine, I believe that this trip will truly show me the purpose of medicine and what being a healthcare provider means.

For me to participate in this brigade, I have to raise money to contribute to bringing medical supplies to Panama as well as pay for my flight round trip. Please partner with me in such a wonderful cause in assisting others in need. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
