Worsencroft Family Support Fund
Spende geschützt
As most of you know, Marty Worsencroft unexpectedly passed away on May 5, 2016. His wife, Kim, and daughter, Haley, continue to mourn the sudden loss of their beloved husband and father.
As you know, Kim is not one to ask for help. She and Marty planned for their future with life insurance and 401(k)s like most of us. What they did not plan for is an accidental death...which in Fulton County can take 3-6 months to get a death certificate in these circumstances. Did you ever realize that? Neither did they- Meanwhile, the bills are still pouring in, but Kim can not access any benefits until the red tape and paperwork have been resolved. Needless to say, this is an arduous process and has cause tremendous stress.
Kim spends hours each day on the phone with the county, as well as Marty's company, to expedite the process, to no avail. We want to help alleviate this financial stress so she and Haley can have time to grieve.
Our community has been a wonderful support system for the family and so many of you have continued to ask what you can do to help support Kim and Haley. The meals, gift cards, and lawn service have been a tremendous help during this first month...but unfortunately we still need your help. We have established this temporary fund to help pay for the health insurance (COBRA) benefits, the mortgage, the medical bills....the list is long. Please take a moment to look into your heart and help them with either a monetary donation or a prayer. They will need both to get through this tragedy.
