Woody’s Warriors

David and Sheila Woody are hometown residents of Culleoka, TN. They have owned a daycare in our small town called Woody’s Wee Ones for 31 years. Loving, teaching and guiding kids is their passion. With doing so, they have given so much to our community that I don’t think we could ever thank them enough. As part of the Bridle and Saddle Club, they work on the Mule Day committee to give Maury County its biggest day of the year. The Woody’s love horses, riding together was a favorite past time they shared. David and Shelia have always given the glory to God through all the work they have done. To know them is to love them. The light the Lord has gifted them shines on any one they meet.

 

A few weeks ago, David (which we all know as Woody) was diagnosed with testicular cancer. It was aggressive and growing at a rate that couldn’t be beat. On June 5, 2022, David Woody went to be with his Heavenly Father surrounded by the ones he loved most. Now the community is being called to surround this beautiful family.

 

Woody’s Warriors is a benefit put together for the family of David Woody, to help give them a sense of peace and security in the days to come. A way to say thank you for all the love Woody gave.
