Women's March On Asheville 2020

Because of the pandemic, our scheduled September 20th rally in Pack Square has moved to an online format.  We need some funds to make it a successful event. We also need funds to maintain our website (WomensMarchOnAsheville.com).

This virtual rally will include live and pre-recorded segments from local musicians, activists and community members. In addition to promoting our mission, we’d like to emphasize our message not only to “get out the vote” but to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th amendment that grants women the right to vote, and honor the suffragettes who fought a lengthy and difficult struggle; victory took decades of agitation and protest. We will once again be the progressive movement heard across the western North Carolina region uniting people of all ages regardless of their gender, race, sexual orientation or religious beliefs. We will "e-march" in support of human rights and for justice.
