Women's Sustainable Development Initiative

Women's Sustainable Development Initiative (WSDI), a 501c3 whose mission is to accelerate the success of emerging women commercial real estate developers working on projects located in low-income communities and prioritizing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) components in their projects.

As seasoned professional women in commercial real estate, we have identified the barriers to emerging women commercial real estate developers face that prevent them from breaking ground on their first projects. Leveraging our more than 150 years of combined experience, we have come together to build solutions to address these education and financing gaps in a way that leverages existing resources in our community.

Building on the great work of other organizations that provide developer education and support, WSDI's mission is to equip women with the financial and technical assistance needed to finalize their first commercial real estate development. With a priority focus on women who are Black, Indigenous, or persons of color (BIPOC) experienced commercial real estate professionals, WSDI will provide pre-development funding, mentorship, and technical assistance to build profitable development teams.
