Today I’m writing with my heart in my hands to ask for help for someone very special: my dear friend Ana Belkis Sánchez, who was recently diagnosed with ovarian cancer. This news has been a devastating blow for her, her family, and everyone who loves her.

Ana is a strong, brave woman full of light. She has always been there for others, ready to offer a helping hand — and now she’s the one who needs our support.

As many of you know, cancer treatment is long, costly, and incredibly demanding — not just physically, but emotionally and financially. Throughout this journey, Ana will face multiple rounds of chemotherapy, medical tests, medications, specialist visits, and possibly surgeries. This represents a significant financial burden, especially since she won’t be able to continue working during treatment.

Hoy escribo con el corazón en la mano para pedir ayuda por una persona muy especial: mi querida amiga Ana Belkis Sanchez, quien recientemente fue diagnosticada con cancer de ovario. Esta noticia ha sido un golpe muy duro para ella, su familia y todos los que la queremos.

Ana es una mujer fuerte, valiente y llena de luz. Siempre ha estado dispuesta a tender una mano a los demás, y ahora es ella quien necesita de nuestra ayuda.

Como muchos saben, los tratamientos contra el cáncer son largos, costosos y desgastantes, no solo físicamente, sino también emocional y económicamente. A lo largo de este proceso, Ana tendrá que enfrentar múltiples sesiones de quimioterapia, estudios médicos, medicamentos, citas con especialistas, y posiblemente cirugías, lo cual representa una carga económica muy grande, especialmente si no puede seguir trabajando durante el tratamiento.
